Learn How to Apply the Comfort Band and Pacey Cuff Ultra
Learn How to Adjust the Bottom of the Pacey Cuff Ultra
Product Info
How does the Pacey Cuff work?
> The Pacey Cuff, similar to a penis clamp, uses a urethral pressure pad (bottom) to apply pressure to the urethra and stop the flow of urine.
> The top of the Pacey Cuff ensures the circulation in the penis is not blocked (unlike with penile clamps which clamp both the urethra and the blood vessels in the penis).
> As the bladder fills, the pressure increases, resulting in possible leakage. The Pacey Cuff is most effective when you empty your bladder at regular intervals.
How do I apply my Pacey Cuff?
You will find a visual guide on how to apply our Pacey Cuff and Power Sleeve incontinence products in the video: How to Apply the Pacey Cuff
The step-by-step guide is as follows:
> Wrap the Pacey Cuff Power Sleeve around your penis, mid-shaft, and attach the Velcro ends.
> Place the Pacey Cuff over the Power Sleeve. Make sure the pressure pad is directly under your urethra. Also, ensure you have centred the top blue plastic part on the topside of your penis.
> Tighten the Pacey Cuff by holding the top and bottom parts centred, and feel the pressure pad close off the urethra. Do not compress your penis more than is necessary to allow continued blood circulation.
> Once you feel the tightening pressure compress the urethra and stop urine flow, secure the Pacey Cuff with the strap. Note the number on the top and bottom for reapplication after using the bathroom later.
> If leaks continue after application, either the pressure pad is not pressing the urethra, or the strap is loose. Follow this guide again, carefully checking along the way and secure it properly.

How do I adjust my Pacey Cuff?
First read: “How to apply the Pacey Cuff”.
We also recommend watching the video: How to Adjust the Pacey Cuff
> Adjust the Pacey Cuff by:
‐ Varying the tightness of the top strap (note the number that works for you).
‐ Moving the bottom piece in either direction.
> Start application with the bottom part set around the 2-3 mark - attach the Pacey Cuff. If leaking stops, make note of the top number on the top strap (this is the setting that will stop the leaks).
> If after the first attempt you are leaking, remove the Pacey Cuff and tighten the Cuff. You do this by shifting the bottom part toward a higher number (4-4.5). Re-attach the Pacey Cuff.
> If after the first attempt you feel your skin pinching, try to manually remove the skin from the corners. If that does not resolve the issue, remove the Pacey Cuff. Loosen the Cuff by shifting the bottom part toward a lower number (1-2). Reattach the Pacey Cuff.
> When you find your optimal settings, make note of the numbers centred on both the top and bottom straps. These are the settings that are right for you!
> The closure number is usually consistent and reliable.
Can I still do Kegel exercises with my Pacey Cuff on?
Yes!! It is best to practice after emptying your bladder after using the Pacey Cuff Ultra to stop leaks. The Cuff will continue working while you practice tightening your pelvic floor muscles. Make sure to wear a pad as a backup in case you still need to tighten the Cuff a bit more. Ask your pelvic health physiotherapist for details or call 877 377 2239 for additional information.
How is the Pacey Cuff different from the other devices on the market?
Pacey Cuff has the following unique characteristics, which makes it functionally distinct from other incontinence products in the market.
These excellent characteristics include:
Easy to Use: Pacey Cuff is as easy to put on as a wristwatch or the belt in your pants. Loosen the strap easily during bathroom breaks.
Comfort: It is the only incontinence product in Canada that actually provides the comfort we promise. The highly innovative incontinence technology ensures that you don't suffer from ischemic pain through a simple design that does not close off the blood vessels in your penis.
The Comfort Band, one FREE with every Cuff, prevents any and all skin discomfort from using an incontinence device.
Durable & Reusable: Pacey Cuff, unlike most incontinence products for men, is washable and durable. It pays for itself within 2 months and will last you at least 6 months!
Can I buy a Pacey Cuff if I'm located outside of the USA or Canada?
Of course! We have a global team and the distribution of our incontinence products goes beyond Canada and the USA.
We have a worldwide distribution list you can review here for the contact information most suitable for you.
How do I clean the Pacey Cuff?
All our Pacey Cuff incontinence products are washable. For proper cleaning, hand wash with warm water and mild, additive free (no moisturizing agents, perfumes or coloring), hypoallergenic soap. We recommend gently brushing it with a stiff-bristled toothbrush, especially for the Velcro parts which work the best when they’re free of all debris.
As we pointed out earlier, you can use the Pacey Cuff incontinence products for men during any activity, including swimming. However, you should clean and dry the device after such activities. For this reason, many men will add at least a second set to their kit.

Size & Fitting
How do I now what size of Pacey Cuff Incontinence products to order? (HINT: You MUST measure, no estimating!)
We have a size chart here. You MUST measure your penis to guide you on what size to go for. Circumference tells you what size, then the length is a minimum for that size. Remember that each size adjusts up and down significantly and they do overlap each other at the threshold between the 2 sizes, but getting the right one for you to begin with is essential!
Give us a call at 1 877 377 2239 if you need some help!
We noticed that some of our clients use two sizes to alternate effectively for day and night use. Note, that the adjustable strap of our incontinence product makes it easy to find a perfect fit for your unique penis size and comfort needs during application.
Troubleshooting
I'm feeling pinching - what can I do?
If you feel any pinching pain:
> Check if you protected yourself with the Comfort Band before applying the Pacey Cuff, making sure the Cuff overlaps the Band.
> Loosen the strap on the Cuff and free any skin that was squeezed into uncomfortable spots when you first applied the Cuff.
> Reapply the Cuff carefully.
> You may use a small amount of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) to protect your skin before applying the Comfort Band and Pacey Cuff.
I still have intermittent leaks after applying the Pacey Cuff. What can I do?
Unlike other male incontinence clamps, the Pacey Cuff incontinence products are designed with precision and with your comfort in mind.
If you still have leaks after applying the Pacey Cuff, do the following:
> Tighten the strap further. Check the number on the strap to be sure you have enough tension. The number differs for each individual because of differences in penis sizes.
> Adjust the bottom piece to a slightly higher setting (towards the 4 makes the Cuff fit more tightly).
> Ensure the pressure pad is directly under your urethra and hold it in place as you tighten the strap.
> You can add our Pacey Cuff Absorbent Pads or an ActiveGuard as a backup to the Cuff. The Absorbents and ActiveGuard catch any leaks that escape the Cuff. They are machine-washable and very durable, meaning that you can use them hundreds of times more than disposable pads. Also, these incontinence accessories are made of high-quality materials, which ensures they remain odour-free.
What are the contraindications for using the Pacey Cuff
First, study the Instructions for Use provided before applying any Pacey Cuff incontinence product.
Do not use the Pacey Cuff incontinence product if you have skin infections. Treat before use.
Discuss any comorbidities you might have with your physician before applying the Pacey Cuff incontinence products. Possible comorbidities that may have negative impacts when you use the Pacey Cuff incontinence products include, but are not limited to:
> Inadequate blood supply to the pelvic area.
> Diabetes may cause vascular disease, sensory loss, and skin issues.
> Neurological deficiency or drug use may limit the use of the Pacey Cuff.
Follow additional instructions from your physician.
What are the side effects of Pacey Cuff incontinence products?
You may experience a slight enlargement of the penis with continuous use of our incontinence products for men. However, this effect is not very common nor is it harmful
Skin irritation may occur if you don't fit the Cuff properly and use the Comfort Band to prevent skin pinching.
Aside from these, there are no other known side effects associated with the use of our Pacey Cuff incontinence products.
Usage
How long should I use the Pacey Cuff male incontinence products each day?
As long as you like. We designed our incontinence products for men to help them recover the confidence to go about their daily activities without worrying about leaks.
For a better experience with the Pacey Cuff, always empty your bladder every 1 to 2 hours, before it becomes full, to avoid discomfort.
Unlike a penis clamp which blocks blood flow and damages penile tissue, we designed the Cuff to compress the urethra without harming you. If you'd like to try it at night, ask your doctor first and ensure you use a slightly looser setting while still taking regular bathroom breaks every few hours throughout the night.
Finally, ensure you discuss the need to use our incontinence products over 24 hours with your physician.
How often must I replace my Pacey Cuff Ultra
There is no expiry date for our incontinence products. However, most users change their Pacey Cuff every 6 months from our records.
Also, since most of our male urinary incontinence products are washable, you may need at least 2 sets to alternate the use, especially if your physician recommends any use at nighttime.
Do I need a protective pad with the Pacey Cuff Ultra?
We recommend using the Pacey Cuff Incontinence Jock, Absorbent Pads or ActiveGuard if:
> You are learning how to use the Cuff.
> Your incontinence is very high. Wearing a pad along with the Pacey Cuff will help absorb any droplets that escape the Cuff.
> You can't make it to the bathroom every 1-2 hours.
> You are exercising (e.g., jogging).
When involved in vigorous activities, the Pacey Cuff pressure pad can shift from its position depending on how tight you can get it. You may need absorbent pads or guards to catch any droplets that might escape the Cuff.
Can I use the Pacey Cuff if I have a penile implant?
It is likely, though check with your urologist to be sure. There are no contraindications for the use of the Pacey Cuff with implants. However, the Pacey Cuff incontinence products may not sit perfectly with an implant, making it not function as effectively as it would for men without implants.
To use the Pacey Cuff incontinence products with an implant, follow the instructions of your physician. If you experience any skin irritation or discomfort, discontinue use.
Contact our Customer Support team for further inquiries on how to use Pacey Cuff incontinence products with an implant.
Can I use the Pacey Cuff incontinence products if I am uncircumcised?
Absolutely! The process of applying the Pacey Cuff is the same for you as it is for the circumcised.
> Allow the foreskin to rest in its natural position.
> Wrap the Pacey Cuff Comfort Band around your penis and secure it with the Velcro tab.
> Wrap the Pacey Cuff around the Comfort Band mid-shaft.
> Tighten the Pacey Cuff Ultra over the Comfort Band to the appropriate pressure, ensuring the pressure pad is directly under the urethra.
Is the Pacey Cuff a clamp?
NO! The Pacey Cuff is different from penile clamps in the following ways:
> Unlike penis clamps, the Pacey Cuff does not cut off blood circulation to the penis. It increases circulation and protects your penis health.
> You receive a FREE Comfort Band to protect your penis from pinching and other types of discomfort associated with an externally applied urinary incontinence device.
> Unlike other incontinence clamps, the Pacey Cuff is durable and will last you 6 months or more.
> It pays for itself within 2 months by drastically reducing or eliminating your need for disposable pads and diapers!
> The Pacey Cuff has a clever bottom adjustment feature that accommodates any changes in penis size throughout the day with hydration, temperature and activity levels.
